Hey everyone,
Sorry I'm completely new to this forum and came by it as I was trying to research about
Methotrexate and wasn't sure which part to post this in..
I got diagnosed with psoriatic arthritis this year and I have been taking Methotrexate going from 4 pills to 8 pills recently and having the folic acid on the day which I don't take it.
But has anyone experienced when you get a cold start of sore throat, bad cough and the next day you feel so awful that everything is spinning, bunged up with cold...
So I went to the doctor who told me rest up till the weekend which I did and I developed a really bad cough and shortness of breath.. so on the Monday I called up my doctor as I was due to take my pills on a Tuesday my designed date for them but I had to go in so she can listen to my chest and signed me off as I wasn't fit to work....
So I tried looking around online to see if it happens quite alot that if I get an cold (flu shot I've had) that the next day or few days later you can't do anything..
It's starting to affect me and work.. to the point I might be losing my job due to illness...
Is there any recommendations I can do if I do get another cold? I know it affects the immune system and I've tried parcemtal, cold and flu tablets etc.. I will bring it up when I next go back to the hospital later this month..
I just need some clarfication or other experiences because I think I'm the only one and others think I'm blowing it out of proportion you know?
Thank you
