I was just Recently diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis I am still waiting to see my specialist and I’m always in pain the painkillers aren’t helping I really don’t know what to do I am not sleeping much it’s usually my hands sometimes my feet anybody have a suggestions what to do and I’ve also changed my diet and it doesn’t seem to help much

Hello,
I was diagnosed with RA in January and was put on low dose Prednisone and Plaquenil and it has made a world of difference. The pain has been reduced greatly. What did your Dr. prescribe? Is there a treatment plan? I think I would call the rheumatologist that diagnosed you and let them know how you are feeling.

Plaquenil (sic) for hydroxychloriquin (sic) is a miracle drug that cured my RA for ten years with no side effects. Of course Trump made it famous!!

Before I got on proper meds, I leaned on Ibuprofen pretty heavily. Still do, when I run out because of insurance snafus.

I am on remicade methotrexate and hydrocodone 5
Doesn't even touch my pain.
I am newly diagnosed. Go back to pain clinic in a week and rheumatologist in a month. It is unbearable at times. High doses of prednisone is all that helps at the moment. I hope they get you fixed up soon.

Leflunomide , Hydroxychloroquine and prednisone, Turmeric Curcumin 500mg.
I start the Humira tomorrow and do I quit all the other medicine? My RA doctor said no continue. Seem like a lot of medicine.... Is anyone else on that?
