Hi Mary,
Been meaning to get back to you, but it's been a really tough, tough week. Family issues have had me really tied up, and am flaring pretty good as well. Suppose it could all be connected, but what do you do?
I think North Port is about 2 hours south of us, isn't it around Sarasota? If so, it's really pretty there. Population in our area is so congested, my hubby would love to leave once he reaches retirement..but have alot of family here.
How's the sleep issues? Now that I've been on the mtx for awhile, can't really say if it affects my sleep anymore. I think part of it for me is all the wonderful changes that come with being almost 50. My sisters have said they went through similar things, and they don't have RA. Mostly I just notice being pretty tired the day after the mtx.
Week #2 for the higher mtx , hoping it kicks in FAST. I took Celebrex the past couple of days, and I really don't like to do that, but was just too achy.
Got some of my bloodwork back...they said my TSH was .67. my FSH was normal, all other bloodcounts, liver enzymes, kidney stuff all that was good. Cholesteral panel was fine too. Only issue was the EOS was elevated, but said that is typical for someone with a lot of allergies, and the c-reactive protein was pretty high as well. Dr didn't seem worried though. So, guess all in all it's ok. Just wish we all felt better!!
Would you believe I STILL haven't gotten those Crocs? Going to try and hunt some down tomorrow after church..
How is work going for you? Don't you work 12 hour shifts on the weekend? Just don't know how you and Ducky stay on your feet like that!!
Well, need to get to bed..I'm going to edit my profile I think and add my e-mail address, then if you want to e-mail me directly you can. Would love to hear from you, and anyone else! Might be easier than keeping these threads going on.
Take care,
Jody
