new pain in my hands

hello i have been to the chronic pain mess boards due to a spinal stenosis and shoulder injury now i have a new symtom my hands ache so bad i can not open a bottle of water my joint bone in my fingers are changing slightly for instant my pinky finger nuckle is bigger and is curving to the right is the normal i have noticed this in all my fingers the pinky is more noticable what should i do? oh and they are painful brushing my childs hair is so much harder now this came on slowly for the past 2 mths i didnt think anything until the pain got as bad as recently i am only in my 40s

Nodules in/on the finger joints can cause deformity. All of my fingers are curving one direction or the other due to Heberden’s nodes. That is the name of the bone spurring causing the curving. Mine is caused by osteoarthritis. I first noticed mine in my mid 40s. Your PCP might sugggest anti-inflammatiries like ibuphrofen or naproxysn if your stomach will tolerate them. Until you consult with your doctor, have you tried Tylenol?
