questions to ask doctors?

I'm in the process of finding a new PCP and rheumy, and I was wondering what are good questions to ask. (aside from the obvious of verifying insurance coverage)

This is what I have so far:

What is your approach to working with patients?

Will you take me seriously if I bring my concerns to you?

Do you have any experience with Sjogrens and RA, especially seronegative?

What is your philosophy regarding holistic medicine?


I am looking for:

A knowledgeable, compassionate collaborative partner to work with in diagnosing and treating my ongoing health issues. Someone who will take me seriously when I talk about my concerns and symptoms.
