RA and Keratitis or eye problems?

Anyone else have eye involvement?

I have just been diagnosed with keratitis - they said it could either be Marginal Keratitis -which just happens for no reason and is self limiting, or it could be Peripheral Ulcerative Keratitis due to my connective tissue disease, apparently 80% of people with the second one have RA. PUK is nasty, very nasty and now I am scared.

Just wondering if anyone has ever had either of these things? And if so, did it go away? Or do you have long term problems?

I've had one episode of episcleritis in the past and have dry eyes, 0-0 on the schirmers test.

Beebs,
I have not so far had any eye issues, but I have only just started as I was diagnosed with RA In October 2012. I do hope that you find the answers you need. One thing that I have noticed is dry eyes and mouth. I am taking MTX by injection once a week, I also take folic acid, loritab for pain, and zantac for the tummy problems.
