Last night while I was in bed, I reached bedside me to lift a pillow. As I twisted my hand downward I felt and heard a loud pop in my forearm. I let out a yell because the pain was so intense. Today I've hurt from my elbow down. It's painful to lift anything over a pound.

Is this common for a sudden pop to happen causing the muscles and joint to hurt?

This has happened to me as well in fact yesterday. My knee is usually sore but today is more so than usual as a result.

Mine usually will feel better after a few days, I hope this is the case for you as well.

It's very annoying and painful.

Yesterday morning I got a stabbing pain in my right foot, jerked from the shock and caused my left knee to pop and hurt.

The pain is gone for both. Now my hands are tingling like crazy. Oh, well.

Glad to hear that the elbow is better. I had bilateral surgery for carpel tunnel years ago and it really helped with the tingling and numbness in my hands and arms as well. It was an afternoon surgery and although they cautioned me against having both done at the same time I found it wasn't a big deal. I spent a couple days taking it easy with decreased motor skills but the numbness and tingling was gone and that alone felt much better.

It has begun to come back the last couple years but I push buttons for my job so I expected that at some point it might. It is nowhere near as bad as it was though.

I hope you feel better. Its no fun having your arms and hands not do what you want them to.

I'm off the see the neurologist. My primary has referred me to one. He agrees it's carpel tunnel syndrome.

Joy,
I, like Don, had carpal tunnel surgery to relieve that pain and tingling (every time I read Dons posts I think, hey that's just like me wink )
I kept putting off the surgery, thinking it would improve. When I finally broke down and got it scheduled I had been getting so little sleep I was looking forward to the anesthesia!!! I had no problem since the surgery, even after I broke the same wrist badly. Hope you are able to get it fixed Anderson's relief.
