Hey
I have severe foot and ankle pain and stuck in wheelchair for most of the day which is killing me! My docs says it is probably RA but blood work did not show it. I am getting a bone scan in May .11. So my question is has anyone here that has RA get a negative blood test but it showed in bone scan ?
So terrified!!!!!!!!!!!!!1111
thanks

Hi a bone scan is nothing to fear and it will show any damage or inflammation in the bone or area scanned. my blood has always been high results for RA But I have known people with negative RF and have RA however you should have some inflammation showing in blood esr or crp
is it possible you damaged your foot? and you didn't say if you have any other symptoms
hope it goes well
