Love , Fear , & Hate...

A reality check, A cruel twist of fate
A grim combination, of love, Fear,& Hate
I never know where to step, Or how many to take
My life in an eggshell, that even kindness can break

The highs in the clouds, a dream it could be
But the lows are as deep, as the floor of the sea
Like a volcano erupting, the terrain Is her cranium
A kaleidescope of chemicals, that's constantly changing

Possibilities are endles! Impossibilites relentless
Uncertain & tempted, to just give up & end this!
But nothing is simple, it's not even a decision
Just walking away?? I can't even envision!!

I will stay by Her side, across hills and through valleys
Because Love, Fear, & Hate are not choices...
They are my realities!



Just a lil something Ive felt being married to bipolar. And not giving up regardless of what emotions may be present. It's hard sometimes, to say the least , but at times it is just as easy and twice as good!! That's my silver lining! Hope u like!

Hello cantgoback, no I haven't written any music for it. It's just something I wrote yesterday while my wife was taking a nap. I am no musician, but I do like to write. Ur welcome to write music for it, as long as I get my props. LOL. If u do I'd love to see how it comes out. I have written lots of stuff about different situations I've experienced( drugs,love,prison,my faith etc...) but they're just words on Paper. If u do maybe u could contact me via email and let me check it out. I plan on doing more about this subject also. Thanks!

Hello, I am usually not on this thread as I am one of the "heart" patients on the "Heart & Cardio Disease" forum.  But, I stumbled upon your piece and I also thought it was beautiful.

It is also wonderful to see people not only coming together to share their pain, but also their inspired works of art.  I also like to write although all my writing has been kept to myself so far, but I loved seeing this exchange of ideas and talent on this forum!  Writing and music have been two of my biggest therapies during my recovery process, so your artistic expression is deeply appreciated.

Great job. Good to see someone channle this into something positive. I usually have to go outside & beat something with a hammer or crush my soda cans or something. lol
