Anyone taking Cymbalta?? Pros/Cons Possitive Stories?? I am on 2nd week of 60mg weaning off Paxil...

I took 60mg of Cymbalta for about 3 years and it worked well, however over those 3 years I gained 100 pounds! Of course, medications work differently for everyone, but be sure to keep an eye out on your weight. You don't want to end up 100 lbs overweight like I am now.

Yikes! I have been thrust into my 2nd bipolar episode (type II) and I have actually lost at least 15 pounds (finally the baby weight from my 3 kids seems to be coming off) but that is not the way to lose weight...I am on week 3 and would love for this to get me back to being level and normal -- it has been 5 months with this episdode and I am ready to kick the crap out of this bipolar! Paxil pooped out on me out of the blue and this was my docs next in line treament and then maybe raising depakote??
