Leslie, normal sadness can feel like a bipolar low, and while normal sadness, anger and fear can trigger a bipolar low, try not to get to anxious about
the way you are feeling. Know that it hurts, and it is scary, but like Forever rightly points out, you are taking all the right actions. No matter how bad you feel, try your very bestest to keep your actions even (and get out that sadness in healthy ways). You are very special to me and I'm sorry to hear you feeling so much pain atm. We should exchange emails in chat sometime. Hugs, Jade x
Edit: ps. I think crying is a brilliant way to manage sadness... please give yourself full permission to cry as much as you need. Crying is a normal, natural and very important natural function to help us work through sadness xxx
