Is it usual to "target" specific people with my hostility? It seems that all my anger and hostility is toward my husband and I wonder if it's because he's the closest person to me?
Is that typical for bipolar?
Thanks :)

I wouldn't say it is "typical" for bipolar disorder. However, fixating on something (hobby, desire, etc.) is typical and could direct emotion on a specific person.
I would start journaling, free writing. You might discover something while writing. even if you don't it's a great stress reliever.
Also remember H.A.L.T. - reasons for irritability/anger. this can help you calm yourself and take care of yourself in the moment rather than expressing your irritability.

Do you see a therapist you can talk to about
anger management?
And never underestimate the power of an apology. :) It helps.
