The first two months of this year have not been worthy of any special award or rememberance, to be quite honest I am glad to see them go. Bad weather, a vicious bipolar encounter that knocked me flat and only a few brief visits from my dear sweet friend, Lady Sunshine did not make this a happy period of time. So a change in the weather is well overdue and I welcome it whole-heartedly. I am always utterly amazed at how three days of Lady Sunshine being around and warmer temperatures lifts the level of my mood. Not only do I recognize it but everyone including my co-workers do as well. Today I feel invigorated and almost like that wacky outlandish fella all over again. But I will be careful and not take swan dives of the crest of the mood mountain because that is a 'trigger' button for me and that can be dangerous for me.
The week before six inches of snow and ice fell, I planted six new bare root rose plants in my established garden, so my interest will take on another focus which is also very good for me.
In the few short weeks ahead I will increase my television viewing to its
pinnacle simply because of my favorite sport, college basketball and the NCAA tournament better known as 'March Maddness.' Totally adore the Cinderella Story of this sport and how unknown teams surface to the top.
On Monday, I will have my second 'talk therapy' session. Along with my short list of personal goals, online support group memberships to Healing Well and 7 Cups of Tea; I do hope my efforts to take this positive steps will better prepare me and my therapist.
My thanks to all of YOU who have read my post and especially to the kind souls who send me a reply back in return. No matter how short or of length your reply maybe I want to encourage YOU to do so. All advice or comments will receive a warm welcome.
Have a most splendid day. Thank you.
