Jo-Ann my grand daughter got the calendar at Kohls.  She saw it going through check out.

Today's quote:

Recession means that people's incomes, at the employer level, are going down, basically, relative to costs, people are getting laid off.

People's incomes at the employer level??????  Relative to costs???? Employees are being laid off, though.

Does this make any sense to anyone?  LOL

Don't know about the deal she got, but I am gettting her money's worth!!!!

What???? I have a bad habit of listening to words. Calling someone an idiot when they're really a cretin does make a difference. For so long I thought I was going nuts with stuff like this but, thank God, I see it's not really me.

I, too, was gifted with a new calendar. This one is "The 365 Stupidest Things Ever Said" (with an extra stupid quote for leap year). Here are a few for you, MK. See if you can guess who said what.

"I would not say that the future is necessarily less predictable than the past. I think the past was not predictable when it started."

"I know that the human being and fish can co-exist peacefully."

"We look forward to analyzing and working with legislation that will make - I would hope - put a free press's mind at ease that you're not being denied information you shouldn't see." (OK, MK, that one's a dead giveaway.)

What does this say about us, MK? Looks like some people know us too well.

 Commiserate means to have pity or show empathy.

Are you sure the word was not commenserate, which would mean equal or equitable? Lauri
