Hi Bev
Doesn't tamoxfen cause hair loss, can't handle that. Post menopausal and have very thin hair on top even set up an appointment for a hair transplant and had to cancel because of Lyme Disease, takes all day and I just wasn't up to it. Had no idea at the time I had BC.
I'm ash blond, straight hair, no gray and reading horror stories about after chemo hair coming in thin and gray.
Didn't know that you had to stay on chemo for years either and also thought being good news HER 2 minus E/P plus ment no chemo. So what's so good about it. If I don't have cancer on my LN could it be I don't need chemo??? if yes then why?
Why does treatment have to go on and on and on. I think I read too much and it doesn't come together for me so I come here and it really does get sorted out.
Thinking maybe I still have brain fog from Lyme and can't remember all I should. One thing I don't want is to turn myself over to my doctors to do as they wish without giving me very good reasons for their choices. I want to be as involved in my treatment as much as I can...advice I got from here at HW.
about not giving a minute of your life to Cancer did you feel that way when first diagnosed or later, maybe much later. Did Lori?
I'm glad I got the mammogram and at the same time sorry...guess thinking what you don't know won't hurt you. I know better, just dumb thinking on another low day that was supposed to be a high day. Sorry to be such a downer and a pain in the ***.
