Bev, life just gets crazier and crazier. I will be in KY from 10th thru 18th. Actually I could meet you anytime during the 14, 15 or 16th. Ben gets married the 12th and we have rehersal dinner on the 11th. I arrive the 9th, so I have the 10th pretty free, too. I don't know about your hubby's status, but could you meet some day after work for dinner? Not sure where you are but would someplace like the waterfront in Cincy be close? You know appproximately where we are. After Ben's wedding, we have til Friday when we go to TN for his little sister's wedding. She was going to get married in October but they found a house and bought it and decided not to wait to move in. They wanted to elope but Dad and Mom talked them into a small wedding at home, so that is Sunday night the 20th. So rather than fly home and fly back I am staying the week in between. Then my next trip will be in July for a wedding on the 10th.
BUT
Carolyn had another bad spell this week. Her temperature was up for several days climbing from 100 to 104. She was vomiting and having nose bleeds, too. All of these she has been told to call the doctors office, but did she? Noooo she had an appointment set for Wed at 3:45 so she was waiting it out. Finally her son, daughter and husband got after her and she allowed them to take her at noon. She was severely dehyrated so they gave her fluids and antibiotic in IV. The doctor told her she could go home but she had to go to the hospital the next morning for 2 pts of blood and platelets, then she was to go to oncology for more fluid and antibiotics. So she was there by 8 am driving herself, she would not let anyone else take her. She got home at 7:30 last night, then had to go back today for more fluid and antibiotics. I have not heard a word yet today. I am sure she drove herself again, and I am not talking about a quick drive a few miles, it is 30 miles and heavy traffic in the rush hour period. I'm sure this stubborness is what has kept her alive so long, but it is frustrating for those of us who want to help her.
Hugs, MK
