Don't take too much medicine.

Last night I was miserable. I took an ambien and was walking around
in my sleep. I kept waking up in different location- On the couch, at the
kitchen table, brushing my teeth, packing nick nacks --- I would take a little
more medication to help me sleep.

This morning my husband had a hard time waking me up..........................
The look on his face when I finally came to.
Later on in the morning i spent about an hour behind the locked bathroom door.
i am sorry I scared him. (and me)

Ambien is not a good medication for me. I've had a bad time with it before,
but never like last night.

It wasn't really just the Ambien, it was what I mixed it with.

I had another bad time when a dentist gave me complete anesthesia.
Apparently he wasn't familiar with the medications I took and he gave
me too much of what they use to put you to sleep. When the procedure
was over, he gave me some straight Oxygen. Breathing had NEVER been
so sweet!

What??? The couch was gonna eat you? Wow, I think Ambien should be taken off the market if it does that to you...I bet that was a Trip!!! Glad to hear that you were okay...Pamela, no more ambien for you girl..

I had to stop taking Ambien because I started to gain weight and I did not know why until my wife told me that I had been eating in my sleep. I like being Abel to sleep but I don't like gaining weight so be careful, if you start to gain weight stop taking Ambien. 

My son took Ambien after a divorce, went into the bathroom to brush his teeth and woke up 8 hours later on the tile floor with the tooth brush still in his mouth.  I guess that's why they tell you to take it when you are already in bed!

Pamela,I am way late to post on this. I am so glad that you are okay. I have heard good and bad about the ambien. I am sure it scared you and your husband.

I had bad reactions to neurontin. I had horrible nightmares every night. It was the most violent,frightening nightmares. I woke up every time right before I died. I was usually crying uncontrollable when I woke up. I have high blood pressure, too. I was so scared that I thought I would have a heart attack. I didn't take it long. The bad part is that I could tell that it helped with the nerve pain, a little.

Did I understand right? Are you moving? Be careful and try not to overdo it. I hope that you enjoy your new surroundings and wish you happiness and lots of low pain days.
