Off Topic, we adopted a new fur baby

We have adopted a new puppy, an Italian Greyhound names Gavin. He's 4 months old, weighs 8 pounds, and is the cutest little peanut.
If I knew how to post a picture, or if I even can, I'd put one up.

It's so great to have a little guy in the house. It's like having a toddler again, LOL. He's about 8 pounds, and will only get a few pounds heavier, so he's a little breed. So much fun too.

Congrats, and remember they are a fast dog, you'll need to keep
it on a leash everytime you take it outside as once they get
away from you they can run away....other than that they are cute...
Mini greyhounds do run very fast!

Healing Hugz

Furkids are always a good thing, especially for those of us in pain. Just holding and/or petting them is soothing for me.

A few weeks ago we adopted 2 kittens...litter mates...about 3 months old and they are a riot! Those two are the most people friendly and cuddly guys but when they play together you can hear the walls rattle a mile away!

And in about 10 days we'll be getting two girls to keep them under control. They were the ones I first saw and was attracted to but I've had to wait for the baby to get big enough and healthy enough for her spay surgery. This is a mother/daughter team and I'm sure mama cat will take charge...lol The baby looks very much like a Ragdoll and is absolutely darling. Can't wait to bring them home. Talk about the 'pitter patter of little feet!"

These guys all have come from a cat/kitten rescue facilities. If you're in the market for a cat or kitten just do a search for cat rescue in your local area. There are so many groups and way too many cats and kittens who need loving homes. These places are no-kill which is one reason I support them. They also are always in need of volunteers to help at the facility or to be a foster home for little ones. I'm considering fostering some babies after the first of the year but....I still need to talk to hubby about that one first. =^.^=

My hubby keeps a website gallery for posting pictures for people who are on the forum and or friends who want a place to share. The link is below. You may see people who you know from the forum. My hubby sneaked in a picture of me looking awful playing in the fall leaves with grandson Thomas. He also put 'albums' out there for out grandchildren Jaksyn and our newest - Tirzah.

Anyway, there are no costs, no fees no selling your email address, no advertising...and yes, there really is a free lunch somewhere. It's at the Gallery! To get a password so you can post pictures just click on Register in the top right corner. Somewhere on the next page it does ask you to email the admin (hubby) to alert him that someone has signed up and needs assistance. That feature of the software isn't working automatically right now so it helps if you email. He'll get back to you with 24 hours, usually, with a temporary password and you're ready to go.

Thank you everyone. We did read up on the breed before hand so we know what we got in store for us. Because of his size and that he gets cold easily, we have him potty on pee pee pads right now. We have a big fenced in yard and we will definitey keep him on a leash.

Fur babies are so much fun, and they really do help to bring down your stress level and help you calm down, when they're relaxed anyway. LOL
