Girlstarr,
I too wonder if you would share a little more of your history of pelvic pain. There are many things that cause pelvic pain, as others have shared. Mine is caused by endometriosis and adhesions, which have spread throughout my pelvis and glues bowel and bladder to my abdominal muscle wall. My organs are all glued to the abdominal wall stretching up to my diaphragm, and fused together and to my back as well. There is the possibility of nerve pain from back and or hip injuries as well as surgery or trauma. Pelvic pain could be caused by endometriosis, bladder issues, and many other things that I ca3n't remember at the moment.
I would get a second opinion on any procedure, injection, or treatment that makes you uncomfortable if you can. Pelvic pain can be difficult to find a cause or reason for, and had I gotten a second opinion, it might have saved me from the suffering I am going through now, or greatly diminished it.
Would you share a little more about your pelvic pain? Mine began when I was 14, and varied in intensity and length for years. When I was 27 it became bad, 28 severe, and now at 31 it is still with me.
I pray that you find a treatment that works well for you so that your pain can end. If you do get the botox injection, would you come back and share your experience with us? It may help another person who did not know that was a treatment option.
And welcome to healingwell!
