Survivors....Monday!

Hello CP Family,

Well, another weekend has gone by...with a lot of family involved and yet we still managed to have a pretty good weekend LOL.

We made a brief trip to visit my "new" granddaughter (step-daughter's child) at her home (which is the first time I have been there) and had a rather pleasant afternoon.

Pain has not been my friend lately and my aches and pains have been about more than i can stand. I sooo look forward to having my cleaning lady come and help tomorrow, but I feel like I'm about to break in half with pain and I know I'll be up doing things too. I just have to get the house back together from the "rebuild" and I'll be able to relax some.

Somehow some of my MSContin seems to have come up missing over the period I have had people in and out of my house and I don't know if I will be able to make it to refill day. I pray I can because I don't know what I will do without the added pain control. I also can't figure out where the medicine went.....it has been under almost complete security and I have NO idea who went in my purse and took the pills. I keep hoping there was a mistake and even called the pharmacy (mom and pop type) to ask them to check their pill count. They know me well and know I'm not the kind to do that so were glad to help, but their count was fine. I would do the police report, but I don't know what to put.....there were too man people here over the last month with counstruction, painters, plumbers, cleaners, carpet installers, and family. I know I didn't double take them because I keep exact records of when I take what...period!

So...the weekend has had its ups and downs. Family has been good, other things not so much...but the pain just won't let up right now and I could use a pain break for a while.

I've had my mom visiting all week, she leaves tonight. I will miss her so much. I love her company and it kept me from thinking of the pain.

I had a beautiful mother's day celebration with hubby, my mom, my two boys, J. girlfriend and two grandkids, Starr and Kelvin. Lots of flowers and choc, movie pass, yoga matt.

I have been feeling quite off for the pass two weeks and i think it was the Fentanyl patch I was trying. My depression was not good, I was waking up every hour......and it did not help my pain. So I'm done with that. No more meds to try just grin and bare the pain.

Having a root canal on Wed. YUCK!!

And hopefully some scrapbooking.

Chart.... thanks for the "thanks" :) It's really no problem, though, as I enjoy hearing how everyone is doing.... and the weekly "update" had been requested by many members.

RM... I'm sorry about your medication that is missing. I literally cannot imagine taking someone else's medication. Are you missing a couple of doses - or a good deal of them? Anyway, that's terrible! When's your refill date?

Saturday was ok. We didn't do much.

Mother's Day was horrible. I felt so depressed and left out. We stayed at home, but all I could think of was our babies all day. Jerome went and got a cake at the grocery store, and that helped a bit for a little while.

I hope you all don't laugh. I have one of the dolls that looks just like a real baby. She is the size of a premie. I got her up on the couch. Jerome tried to find her clothes, etc. in the extra bedroom that looks like a tornado went thru. I wasn't satisfied that he didn't find much, so I went in, and found just about all of her stuff.

I was wondering why I have been hurting so bad today. That's exactly why. My back has been killing me all day. I just realized. I'm paying for doing that yesterday :( It's a shame that we have to pay the next day for doing things the day before. My back doesn't like bending over, and least to say, I did a lot of it yesterday.

I hope that all the mothers here had a good Mother's Day. I really believe that Jessica (my baby doll) helped me thru the day.
