Hi All!



I just wanted to say hello! I came across this page by way of Google (LOVE TO GOOGLE) and I read a few threads and everyone seems so encouraging and kind here that I had to join... I've seen a few message boards that are just mean!



I look forward to sharing my experiences with others who know what I've been through. I'm fairly young so I don't have anyone that I can talk to on the days where my pain really has me in a funk (not often, but it happens). I also look forward to helping others if I am able to.



Thanks for creating such a positive and friendly forum!

Yes!…you have found a wonderful support group for chronic pain!…and wether your here to support or need a place to rant a bit about your pain,... were just glad you found us! You may as well make this your support home!

Be sure and check out the Chronic Pain 101 at the top of our home page, and of course a browse through the forum rules is recommended as well.

Thanks for the welcome! I read the rules but I wasn't clear on if I can post links to other websites... is that allowed?

And I skimmed through Chronic Pain 101 and WOWZERS! That's a wealth of information! Kudos to those that put that together. I look forward to reading all of it when I am home in bed this evening.

Welcome Linds !!! I'm josh 31 from boston
Bi- lateral hip FAI, right hip displaysia, OA (no cartilage) in hips -

People on here are great, I joined about 9 - 10 months back and I have found it good to have a place to turn to talk / vent with ppl who understand and can relate to chronic pain.

Love the comment about smiles :)

Nice to meet you sure wish it was under better circumstances than chronic pain, Welcome this is a good family oriented site with lots of support. My biggest chronic pain was from a car accident in 1997, been in pain since and later dx with other stuff such as fibro and RA, As a kid I had asthma and that has stayed with me, ect...anyways just wanted to say "Hello"

Just wanted to pop in and welcome you aboard. Sorry to hear you are suffering with cp but certainly glad you found us.
Share you chronic pain journey with us when you have the time. We all care about one another here and offer great support along with a wealth of knowledge on many subjects.
Myself I have been suffering with intractable head pain for thirteen years. Have tried all meds possible and treatments as well as having seen many specialists all to no avail. I am now awaiting a surgical date for an occipital nerve stimulator.
Hope you keep posting with us and let us know how you are doing.

Hi Kinds! Welcome to the forum.

This is a great place with some awesome people and no worry we have a few young folks here.

It's nice to have a place to come to filled with people who just know how your day was if level 8 pain! ! No trying to explain or no pasting on a smile when its the last thing you want to do.

Helpful links are great and as long as they don't promote trials,research, donations they are usually OK, also use them to give others a reference for new regulation or law your referring to. It helps if people can read the thing in its entirety you know? Its easier then trying to copy the whole thing to here for us to just jump there to see it.

We have some folks here that are like walking filing cabinets, they like to store information and thank God for them because people like me that if the computer didnt automatically bring me here? I probably couldn't find my way!!

Like SE said if your in doubt run it by a mod. I'm generally on most nights and early a.m such as now and if you happen to be a restless nightowl I will be glad to help you if I can.

Hello, welcome to the forum. I joined recently too and have found it to be very supportive.

I am very young too on average for chronic pain conditions, it is just something which is more common in the older segment of the population. So I know exactly how you feel.

Hello Linds, welcome to the forum. You will be so glad that you found us because the people here are amazing. We welcome you with open arms, hearts, and minds. Anytime you need to vent or just share some information etc. we all understand and support each other so feel free to share as much or as little as you feel comfortable with.
