The biggest thing is making sure your daughter will be ok and taken care of and as Susie mentioned about
having her in day care for that week and then husband picking her up and watching over when home. Also mentioned was a few insurance plans pay for a home health aide to do certain things so check that out as well.
You can also plan well in advance with meals already cooked and frozen and just ready to heat up. It should also be easy to make things like smoothies that have good protein. I would think that your friends would be happy to help out as well. Do you all belong to a church in the area?
It's really going to be about
resting and chilling out afterwards...So making sure you have a place set up where you will sleep that is close to a bathroom on the same level. This will be your little "haven" for that first week or so. So have your favorite comforter, pillow, books, water bottle, pictures that make you smile, etc...You won't be taking a shower that first week anyway...just sponge yourself off and use dry shampoo.
There are many other ideas/things that other folks will come along to think of...
But this is where asking all those great friends on FB if people are willing to pitch in....There are many people in this world that really do want to help if you just ask!
