Oh no! Did he think that because you saw the clinic psychologist for the eval for your pain pump? Can you explain it to you regular doctor? It seems pretty unprofessional that you got the information by word of mouth and not the doctor directly. I sure hope the misunderstanding is cleared up and you don't have to go without your meds.

Have you had any notice from your Psyc doctor telling you that you have been dropped?
Is this how you normally receive news concerning yourself?
Let me see, wife told you that her social worker told her that your psyc has dropped you as a patient. Maybe you should show up for your usual appointment and see if your doc really dropped you from his patient list.
is this one of those posts where we get a good laugh? I know I am still laughing.
regards.......

that. good possibility. i hope it's a misunderstanding. i'll find out monday morning. now that would be a real bummer. 3 months is a long time without the medicine.

Why would your wife's Social Worker have access to any of your records? Unless you have the same Social Worker something sounds fishy to me.
I hope everything is fine on Monday and that everyone's meds are available.

Doesn't sound ethical or professional, would not be the normal way things like that would be handled. Hope it is just a big misunderstanding or miscommunication for your sake.

I would show up for appointment & ignore the 'gossip'.
Comments about
joke/ punch line etc is confusing.. my fibro fog is confusing enough ....

That is great. Glad you could clear it up. I always go right to worst case. It took guts to go there.
