Chest Pain

I have been experiencing chest pain on and off for a few months now, all the tests are coming back normal and all the doctor's are telling me it's "muscoskeletal" pain and keep prescribing pain killers which I don't want to take. In addition to chest pain I also have back pain which starts in the middle of back along the spine. Does anyone else experience this type of pain and what sort of treatment options have worked for you?

……what test have they run on you? I was suffering from the same symptoms, and wound up in ICU with three additional "Stents". Appointments with the Heart dr did not show the real problem, until a simple check with a Hearth-Cath was done. I had been having pretty severe chest pains for 6 months.

EKGs, chest X-rays, CT scan of the chest with contrast.

I am wondering if breast size has anything to do with it...every doctor I've asked says no but I'm not as convinced.

Treadmill test?……That is where mine got the most attention. I had thought it was a muscle spasm, tied to spine issues. Also, where is the pain located in the chest area?….mine was straight over the area of the heart.
