I have SMCS (Severe Multiple Chemical Sensitivities) & a non cancerous lower spinal mass. I live with a lot of pain from both. It is really hard to find forums for the SMCS.

There are a lot of posts on multiple chemical sensitivities and specific chemical sensitivities in the archives. A lot were posted in the allergy forum. If you post something there you might get a reply.
I have sensitivities to lots of foods, but they all contain sulfites. I have a few drug sensitivities and true allergies too. My allergist calls sensitivities allergies, but some doctors poo-poo that: "Oh you just have a sensitivity." My sulfite sensitivity/allergy gives me tachycardia, sometimes sends me to the hospital.
Sorry I can't help with the spinal mass. I suggest talking to a neurosurgeon about
that.

I searched the site for the archive you mentioned. I am new & having a hard time finding it.

Use the search box at the top right of the page. Just put in some keywords and hit enter.

Peggy, I too have chemical sensitivities. Everything I use has to be plant based and NO perfume in them.
I react to most meds too. I was in the hospital with covid pneumonia and didn't lose my sense of smell....
they used a new floor cleaner and I had the respiratory crash team in the room real fast as I couldn't
breathe! I've read tons of labels looking for natural deoderants, shampoos and laundry products. I found
Shea Moisture baby soap, Purple rice water shampoo and conditioner (also Shea Moisture) and 7th
generation products to work the best. I finally found a doctor who recognizes this in me and I'm thankful
to have him as my GP

I find the worst driver for my MCS is mold. It get s a lot more tolerable when I’m away from a moldy environment or items. I’d highly recommend looking very strictly and carefully for signs of mold in your home.

Mold is not always easy to spot. We had mold in our bedroom ceiling.I had chronic sinus infections and/or bronchitis. The bronchitis was so frequent. our family doctor diagnosed me with asthma and put me on Azmacort. (Azmacort was taken off the market in 2011) When the mold was finally discovered and repairs were made. My severe headaches went away.
The headaches are distinctive. I know when I am around mold now because I get what I refer to as a "mold headache"
