new here with multiple pain issues...

I don't remember if Ive posted on this part of the board before, but I do sometimes post on the Fibro section. I was just wondering if anyone else has Fibro and all the other issues I have (major car accident = 2 levels fused on spine in neck, 1 bulging disc that was "snipped" at S1, 1 bulging discs w/ not constant pain still in that area, right knee operated on twice, mobility issues, depression, and migraines).

Is there anyone else who is going through something like what I listed above??

Hi Barbara,

Welcome to the CP board. There are many of us here that have fibro on top of various other CP/health issues. I have cervical/thoracic back issues; carpal tunnel syndrome; migraines and fibro (I think that's it, lol....). I also have heart issues and depression/anxiety.

I'm sorry you are dealing w/ so many things... but there are some wonderful, supportive people on this board who do understand what it's like living w/ multiple health and pain issues.

Are you seeing a pain management doctor?

Hi Barbara, and welcome.

You're not alone in having multiple chronic pain issues - I don't have Fibro, but do have various other problems. I hope you will find a lot of caring and support here as we all know in some shape or form what it's like.

As Tina's asked already - have you got a pain management doctor?

         I, myself do not suffer from Fibro...but have had a double lumbar fusion...and I still suffer from pain with it. I also have cervical pain and will one day need surgery there as well.

      Are you on some sort of pain med's for all of this? Maybe pain management clinic?

Hi Barb, Yes I also have fibro and I am recovering from a l5 s1 fusion. Pain is a constant companion it just varies in strength. I check out the other forums as well and learn from all of them.

Yeah I have Fibro, have had one fusion in my neck, double laminectomy at L5 S1 (21 years ago) and now have severe degenerative damage there. Ruptured disk at L4, Tennis elbow both arms, arthritis, Diabetes (with neuropathy) and depression.
I think multiple problems are the norm here rather than a rarity so welcome! There are many great resources and people here :)
