Hello, have posted about having a cervical spine steroid injection and although now I can feel some pain relief in my neck (horrendous pain has subsided) this new awful pain/numbness/tingling is now in my left arm/fingers and left ankle/knee.
Spoke with the Dr who gave the injection and he said this has nothing to do with the injection....this all happened after the injection though.
My primary care Dr waited and waited to do anything, it is so frustrating as now I have all this new pain and do not know what to do.
I have changed Dr's and will be going in this week but what do I say, what do I ask? I am back in PT but it's not really doing anything.
I don't want to have another injection, the "steroid" Dr said he could do an injection again in my cervical spine but because of the numbness in my ankle/knee he can also do one in the lumbar region....well, I just feel this is jumping in to something too quickly, it seems oh well, let's just do that now.
My arm/fingers feel broken and so painful, I do sit at night with a warm bean bag "thingy" on my hand and the heat does help eventually but the pain just comes back.
I just don't know what to do, pain pills do not even touch the pain, what would you do? this rules my life.
Thank you :) I have a herniated disc at C7-T1 and the steroid Dr said it's pressing on the C7 nerve, will this just clear up on it's own?
