Hi Guys,
I know some of you have gone to the ER when dealing with major pain spikes. I have a question about treatment.
A few weeks ago, I had some epidural and facet injections around the left side of C7/T1 which definitely have helped.
Unfortunately, because of the curve of my spine, I'm now having a pain flare on the right side. I think with a reduction of inflammation on the left, the right is now in a slightly different position.
Muscle tension has been severe and when I turn my head to the right and down, I get so dizzy I have to hold on to things to get back to bed.
The doctor who did the injections said to talk to my PM. My PM basically didn't know what to do other than contacting the injection doctor.
So, I'm stuck -- and am wondering whether if I went to the ER they could do anything for me? I have all the oral meds I need. But am wondering if they would be willing to inject something like marcaine into the area to numb it? If not, I'd rather not waste my time and money.
Hence my question: anyone ever get a Marcaine or similar injection at an ER?
