PN. Wanted to talk to a guy who has had PNE surgery. Had surgery in 2010 after 37 years of wrong diag. Nerve was a mess with lots of scar tissue. Thinking of cryoblation stuff. Any ideas. I'm still in lots of pain, with NO life at all!

You might want to check the archives for previous discussion about this. Just enter the keywords into the search box. I haven't seen anyone posting about this recently, but several months ago, I believe there was a thread.

I'm sorry to hear about your difficulties. This site is great for support. Even though our 'pains' may not be the same, we understand. Same boat, different decks.

Hi Gospelman & welcome to Healing Well. I remember a few years back we had 2 men post about this condition. Like you, the dr offered cryoblation therapy. Neither of these members ever came back & let us know if they had the procedure done. This happens often with men that have robotic surgery to remove prostrate cancer, usually theirs resolved on its own in several weeks.

I do know how debilitating this condition can be for people. I would certainly try the procedure. You have nothing to lose & possibly a lot to gain, relief!! People with spine issues often will have the nerve endings ablated to try to lessen the pain.

Please let us know if you go forward with the procedure.
