Hi & welcome to the forum. Sorry to read about your accident. There are many things to try over the counter, a lot of people use the patches that contain Lidicaine such as Salon Pas & Tiger Balm. Alternate using heat & ice packs, gentle stretches, warm showers or tub soaks. Some people use epson salts or apple cider vinegar in their tub soaks. Keep moving as much as you can. Try to avoid a lot of lifting & bending for a bit. If you can't seem to get things calmed down, consider going to your pcp & he/she may prescribe a mild muscle relaxer or even some physical therapy.
