for me the part that irritates me is the barely malt exclusion -- it's everywhere it's everywhere! LOL.
Interesting your docs position on the adhesions. Mine is cool, but also I had a bacterial infection that was chronic and very rare in this country, so we're sort of chicken and egg about that. It's been cured for about 10 years, but then this started. It's all adhesion related in me, for sure. I'd like to get one more surgery, but I'm going to wait as long as it seems I can procrastinate.... but man, you're right about the surgeries being a relative breeze, but that needs the caveat that the adhesion is well-presented, because adhesion hunting is hard to do in the abdominal cavity. (needle in a haystack basically). The last guy scheduled a hyst to make less places to attach in the future, which was interesting - and I was post menopausal 10 years (from another surgery) so i figured cool with me. I was lucky b'c my uterine cells ended up being abnormal!! I had a lap hyst. it was amazing. No pain at all. The adhesion pain was also minor. (apologies to the board for going a wee bit off topic here...) but he didn't get all the adhesions. it let me go from a liquid diet to a semi-solid one though. so that was cool.
