Anybody take cymbalta?...if so is it helping, Do the awful side effects eventually go away?

Hello,
When I toook cymbalta I took off like a rocket worked like a charm! felt normal for the first time in years. Yes the side effects go away. I thought that it was the greatest med in the world. However; for me my body gets use to the medications and then they don't work any more and they have to change them. I wish I could go back to the cymbalta because it was so good. I was able to function and go to work and work a full day and be on the ball and everything. I wish you all the best with this med. take care

Carmen when I started Cybalta 30mg, Dec.15th last, it took 6 days and my pain was half of what it was. Now it's I'm guessing at 20% of what it was. Me and my Dr.are both thrilled. If this keeps up I'm going to go back to work but thats in the future, right now I'm just enjoying hours and hours even days of no pain. I've noticed no side effects so far. Rob
