WoW:  another your don't have crohns....I have heard this you do you dont for 26 years....I have something...Dec  20 had exploratory surgery....small intestines were so inflamed they were shut down.   one opinion its crohns,,,,my GI says its not.......so we are going to do every kind of test he can think of.....and maybe get a answer......no pain  except the 20th....just chronic diarrhea  with no warning

any advise or comments welcome

If they are convinced you don't have crohn's, are they checking for fungal and bacterial infections? I don't see how they could rule out crohn's unless another culprit was found. There are also parasites that cause D. It just doesn't sound right. The other people on this site may be able to help if you could list the conditions the docs have ruled out so far. I feel for you because it is so frustrating for you. Good luck.

Have you ever had biopsies taken? They would show Crohns even on a microscopic level. Just a thought!

Well two Drs at hospital said crohns...but my GI said he just cant agree with them....he has studied my file way back in the 80's and seen all the biopies and said all the times they said you had crohns I cant see it..

They did biopies the 20th when had exploratory surgery..nothing for sure.

They have marked.off..IBS, IBD, C-ed.... now they are working on afew more.....tomorrow do the lovely upper follow through...gag like a baby...then the camera....

Just want a answer after 26 years......my only problem is uncontrollable, no warning diarrhea...no pain ...I do blout.....had all the pains in 80s..but now just diarrhea...he mentioned it could be some sort of immune defeciency and he will keep on tell we get a answer....so hope I'm following the right path with him..instead of the Drs at hospital..but my Primary is following this close and he likes this plan....

That is a really long time to go without a diagnosis and my heart does go out to you. I pray that they find it is something that is curable and not Crohn's disease.
