Hang in there! Just remember you're just wanting to rule out the scary stuff, not expecting it to be there. It's hard for you because it's *you* who sees the blood afterward and feels the pain. And, yes, I do have pain daily. I have constant rectal inflammation and the meds don't really do much for me. The rectal meds are really what keep me out of the hospital, I think.
Oh - also, when I'm bleeding a lot, the pain seems to increase. Sometimes it hurts so much in the bathroom (spasms get so bad) that it's even caused vomiting (not due to nausea) and I get shaky and my heart starts pounding. My body clearly tells me this is bad. So you are not alone. All of this should be worked through with your doctor. Hopefully yours will help you get out of this!
It's great that you've got your doctor and nurse working on figuring it out. That will help you rest while you learn more.
