I used Clindoxyl gel before. Same Antibiotic I believe. It IS contradicting taking it though with IBD. It said in the info NOT to take it if you had IBD plain and simple reading. I was like what the hek and my doctor gave me this (GP not GI). And it CAN cause colitis in healthy people as a side effect. I took it for a good 6months to a year with no problems though. I would say I had an extenuating circumstance, or at least thought I did which is why I took it for as long as I did and I never did check with my GI, I highly reccomend you dont do the same : ) But in the end I decided it wasnt worth the risk for my problen which was something called sebatious prominence which I later realized after a year and using google images and from my experince with females my case was super mild and did not need such treatment (that didnt do too too much anyway) especially where I have IBD. Check in with your GI see what they have to say. But it would be like taking up smoking you know, not reccomended and could have serious side effects.
