do you get inflammation outside of the GI area without flare ups?

I have Crohn's and while I always struggle with constipation and diarrhea even when not flaring, I'm really having problems with inflammation elsewhere.

My joints, eyes and skin have all been bothering me more or less for a few months. My new GI doc wants a colonoscopy but I'm hesitant because I don't think I'm flaring up. I'd be in more pain in the GI area for sure. I do get some bloating and after some meals I feel some dull pain in my stomach. Otherwise I'm doing ok digestively.

My doctor was pretty skeptical that this was connected to my Crohn's. I've been checked for rheumatoid arthritis and eye disease and came out clear. Have you ever had these symptoms when your disease was otherwise reasonably controlled? Any suggestions on ways to deal?

Joint pain is due to CD.  I have had my share of it when I am having a flare.  It comes and goes like the flares.  I have chronic dry eye that my eye doc tells me is due to my CD.  I know there are some eye issues with CD, but not really sure what they are.  My mom has CD too.  She and i both get red spots on our arms just before a huge flare.  The doc can't explain them, but htey have to be related becasue they come and go with the flares.  Sometimes they are small (size of a pencil eraser) and sometimes they are the size of a quarter.  I would think your symptoms are associated with a flare, but you don't want to go on too long.
