Hello Yanieska, please try not to stress yourself out so much about
your surgery, it is not good for you. Try and think of all the positive things that you will experience once your surgery is over.
One of the things that really concerned me was what it would be like the first time I had a bowel movement after the reversal (my rectum was sewn shut while I had my ileostomy). All my worry was for nothing, it was just the same as it always was, and as for the pain, the doctor will perscribe medication to help with that.
Worrying about something that has not happened is one of the worst things that you can do. The doctor and the nurses will help you when it comes to what you can eat when you go home and will give you instructions about what you can and can't do, once home.
It will probably take a good 6 weeks to fully recover, and return to regular activities, but like I said before, the hospital staff that are going to be taking care of you will help you with all the pertinent instructions, and your diet.
Just try thinking about the clothes that you can wear and how different it will be for you, instead of dwelling on all the negative things.
I hope some of these suggestions are helpful to you, good luck with everything.
