Hi,
I was just wondering if anybody knows anything about white cell scans?? My diagnosis is still a little up in the air-so for the time being Im labelled as severe ibs. My consultant does think it is crohns but needs histology to make a concrete diagnosis. In past ive had colonscopies which showed inflammation and faecal calprotectin raised significantly. I thought that the white cell scan that i had recently might give me answers but my results came back normal. This is reassuring yet I know from reading that peoples bloods have come back normal even though their crohns has been active. What is your opinion on this??. As at moment Im questioning my sanity. I have been poorly in bouts on & off for 8 years. For the last year I have been very poorly, severe weight loss rapidly ( 3 stone in 11 weeks, bm plus plus plus, , vomitting, mucus in stools, blood, rash, mouth ulcers, horrendus fatique- and at present too poorly to work. Im having a camera capsule in the next few weeks. Thanks for reading & hope you all are keeping ok...
