There's some good, scientific (not just articles from High Times) research showing the multifaceted benefits of cannabinoids in helping maintain, and promote remission. I can only attest to my own personal experience, but it does have a positive effect. Though I've only been officially dx'd for the last 10 years, I've been dealing with it for decades, and personally feel that my own application has helped me especially when I wasn't taking any specific medications. It's helped with nausea, it's helped to promote appetite, it contributes with an anti-inflammatory affect, and for those 3 hour long agony filled sessions on the toilet where all you can do is pray to god to help you make it through as your in the midst of cold sweats and trauma induced type of shock.
I am not the stereotypical stoner the media reports on, I am a responsible professional who doesn't partake and drive, I don't use before or during work, or when I have responsibilities. But, I have found small daily doses at night before bed has a cumulative effect, and also as needed usage for the immediate also does help. With the recent changes in medical and recreational laws in the states it's time that real in-depth medical studies need to be pursued and actual true scientific research be allowed to take place.
