Water can absolutely make a big difference! I think some of the negative reaction above may have come from using the word "cure" in your subject line. I try to drink at least three 16oz bottles a day, usually more. It makes a big difference in how a digest food and how it passes through me. In fact, I did have a recurrence of an old retired perianal fistula back in January caused by constipation in late December. Holidays got me out of normal eating/drinking habits. I wasn't drinking enough water. Had a really bad bout of C with a lot of straining. Finally got it to pass, but within a week developed an abscess and the fistula re-opened.
