I've been on imuran for almost 2 months now, I just had the lab work to see how it metabolizes in my liver done Friday, but I haven't heard from my doctors office yet about the results. When I started the imuran I also started prednisone at 40mg taper by 5mg every week, but my doctor said it was okay to speed up. So I just finished the prednisone a few days ago. Pretty much the whole time I've been on them my heart rate has been high, it'll get to 90 if I'm laying down and have been for at least an hour but as soon as I get up it goes over 100, it has gotten to 140, and stayed there for like 10 minutes, but it is always pretty much between 100-120. I had been blaming the prednisone, but now I'm not on it and it's still high. Has anyone had a high heart rate on imuran? Also I'm pretty itchy mostly my arms and face, but the cotton is starting to bloom and blow everywhere where I live and that always brings out my allergies.

I've been waiting for them to call me anyways because I had the blood test to see how my body metabolizes the imuran last Friday, and also hep B and I thought TB, but my mom said TB isn't a blood test usually so I don't know what else, so I can start Remicade, but I haven't heard anything from anyone, and my nurse is on vacation so I'm really not even sure who I need to talk to.

I did experience horrible anxiety on the prednisone this time, but after I got down too 15mg, I didn't really feel anxious any more, the only thing that seems to have stuck around is the heart rate so I'll mention it if and when I hear from my doctors office.
