There are foods that seem to contribute more toward inflammation like red meat and foods that have anti-inflammatory properties like garlic and turmeric but, honestly, I don't think any food is going to reduce or prevent scar tissue at your surgery site. I had my surgery in 2014 and I'm still doing well....I guess only time will tell. Don't smoke cigarettes and try to eat a reasonably healthy diet and take your maintenance medication if you doc thinks you need them, and try not to stress about it....that can't help!
