Scared and feel alone

So had a scope today and inflamation in stomach. But on the way being taken back my family doc called and said my chest xray shows mild emphysema. I'm scared to death. I was just put on high blood pressure meds last month and felt fine before that. Anyone have this

While it sounds scary, and I'm no expert, but from what I know of emphysema, a mild version, with no smoking, can give you a normal life expectancy, and quality of life as well. Hope you get some clarity from your Doctors going forward. Keep us posted.

What are your current meds and do you have an appointment with a pulmonologist? I’d rather hear what pulmonologist has to say than a family doc.

ok i had my pulmonary function test done and the result were normal so no emphysema. I'm so thankful. also had a sleep study done and no sleep apnea. thank you everyone for your kind words.
