I also have ongoing issues with bloating. I've found watching my diet and keeping a diary works well for me. I've been able to pin point some foods that make is worse. Adding a probiotic can help as well as peppermint oil. At least those things help me.
Things that make me bloat: dairy, banana, garlic, onion, raw broccoli and cauliflower, both ok cooked. Too much brussel sprouts or turnip. All those make perfect sense to me. I add lactaid if I really want dairy and that helps.
And finally. Take a walk, move around, exercise. I'm an avid exerciser and weight lifter. At the beginning of Covid, I didn't exercise for 2 week. The bloating got so bad it hurt to move. I slowly started walking again and then added exercise back and BAM... relief.
