arthritis finger ???

Hey haven't been around much. Trying to stay really focused on day-to-day life lately. I don't want to try and check this out via a telehealth appointment (it's not going to show on video and what can they do remotely really), so I thought I would ask here first....
about three summers ago, I noticed I get 2 little (just over pin head size), clear blister like things on my knuckle closet to the hand. When they come out - about 3/4 the year, my knuckle looks bruised and is very sore (even a gentle touch hurts). This year add the end knuckle is screaming in pain and it has a hard knot to the side and a hard pimple like bump out to my cuticle. This is so painful, touching it sends shock like pain up the finger.
Ice doesn't help. Wearing a splint has eased it a tiny bit, but I work on a computer all day and it is really hard to work without my right middle finger (yes, there is some humor in this!)
If you arthritis in your fingers, is this what it manifests as?

Thanks Monte...I was thinking about that as an option for the end of the finger. Now if I can figure out the odd middle knuckle! Ouch today! Maybe it's the humidity making it worse.
