For those that remember, I have bouts of high fevers that very rarely have a dicernable cause. They always think its my line. As normal I waited 2 days to see if it would resolve but it did not. I'm not as tough as I was and they hit me harder now that I'm 60. Lots of antibiotics seemed to break the fever. Will update when I get home๐

Hope you get better soon, Randy. I had a similar bout almost 3 weeks ago. My fever was 39 C and kept fluctuating between 38.5 and 38 for 8 days. I was put then on Invanz (ertapenem) IV antibiotics for 10 days. The GP attributed it to perianal fistula sepsis. My GI was travelling and it was him who prescribed the antibiotic injections. He mentioned that the high fever could have been caused by COVID.

Not covid. Done two nasal and a blood test. All negative. They did move me up a level in a more intensive area for all of the 4 antibiotics and my tpn and because my BP has been under 80/50 all day and my pulse was 35 so they got more worried. Up on both now but still under 100. And pulse in 50's. ๐ so I got the heart monitor on, and lojacked in the bed. Feel like an invalid.

All is good! Going home today. Off all antibiotics. Audible still acting up, but way better. Thanks everybody. the nurses colored me a picture and wrote " patient of the week" ๐ for putting up with all the stuff without whining and complaining. 5 different rooms in 4.5 days!. The latest was midnight last night. Nurse came in and said that they needed the room I was in for a new patient that was coming in. So I was up,packed and in the new one in about
6 min. The new room is a double and came with a snoring, smoker, who would not turn off the tv all night and wanted his tramadol all night!

Hey clo, All good. I'm not a religious person But I would never turn down or be offended by someone who thinks enough of me to pray for me. I've been on so many church prayer chains over the years it has certainly never hurt me๐
And please don't apologize for it to anyone! If some one is bothered by it I say " copulation them" ๐

Started getting statements from my stay. Just under 100k so far. My payer cut it down to about
15k. I think the system just throws out huge numbers to see what they get negotiated down to.

I agree.
Those bills really freak me out....
I had my knee nerves ablated in both knees back in March. (didn't help stop the pain as much as they said it would.) They sent me separate bills per knee... Even though they were done at the same time.... Lol... I'd just freaked out about
the first bill, gotten that settled when the bills came in for the other knee.
I hope you are feeling better.

Yep, feeling good. ๐ trying to get into cardiology sooner. They want to do ablation on my heart too control the afib. But I've heard horror stories about
it.

My spouse has ablation done over 5 years ago.
It's helped settle his sudden heart rate spikes down a lot. He still has a few things happen if he works too hard but not like before. His heart rate doesn't increase, but his BP does, and then he starts peeing a bunch--thats when I know he's having some issues... But before it was so bad he could not breathe while it was happening.
Please let us know how you are doing.

I'm ok clo. Although today I was working on my old car and then had high pulse but low pressure and a little dizzy. Just rested and felt better.๐
