farmicist?

I was not diagnosed until 11-08 but believe I had MILD symptoms for past 20 years. I always had 3 to 5 soft BM a day and about every 6 months would have a 3 day clog in my lower right side which would wash through and I would go back to "normal". Had colonoscopy every 5 years which only showed 1-2 polyps which were removed each time. Last October I started showing bright red blood with stools which we first called from hemorrhoids but when it changed to gross clotted blood we did a colonoscopy and found it looked like crohn's, biopsy showed resembled crohn's, antibody tests showed crohn's, symptoms all sounded like crohn's Started treatment with Colazal 3 caps 3 times a day then added prednisone 40mg and taper weekly but each time I get to 30mg I flair again so am now stuck on 30mg, started 6MP a month ago at 75mg and the end of March started Remicade at 5mg/KG. Remicade seemed to help the right sided clog so I started to eat more and then became constipated because I was eating 4 times as much but still my BM consisted of 2 SMALL BM per day. I have now flushed out my system and will eat smaller meals. Next Wed I get my 2nd Remicade. I am confident that we will beat this and get back into a remission.
