Hello Jenn,

Was your mouth and throat sore when you got out of surgery? If it was, your thoat might be raw from the breathing tube they inserted when you were under anesthesia. It can take days to heal if they were rough with it. If this started after you came home, do you have any other new symptoms -- like a rash or itchiness, which could be a drug reaction.

I suggest you call your doctor and tell him what has happened. If you can't contact your doctor, call the ER and ask to speak to the doctor on call They may be able to shed some light on this.

Sounds a bit like a real major Crohn's-associated "rash" or allergic-type reaction. about the only fast solution might be more prednisone - but you need to see a doctor - probably a dermatologist or? and soon.

Hi Keeper how are ya? I am on Prednisone now could that be the problem i guess i am worried it might be Crohns in my mouth,however i was put on 2 new pills only in the hospital for my kidneys but would i just get a reaction now i am going to go to the clinic if there open,i never even thought of an allergic reaction i got all kinds so allergies,Tuesday i go to the city to see my GI about increasing my Humira i would like to wait to see her cause she knows my history so much better than any doctor here.Thanks for your response.
