Dear oh dear oh. I forgot to introduce myself and posted twice already. Sorry to all.

Hi all,

My name's Ari and I've had CD disease for about 8 years now. I was diagnosed in 2006 in North Carolina. Soon after I moved back to Europe. First to London, Jersey later. My condition has got worse over the years and right now I'm in hospital on IV steroids which they want to replace with prednisolone over the weekend and probably discharge me on Monday. Going to have a surgery at St. Marks Hospital in London on the 3rd of November. Wish me luck. I may really need it.

I feel really good to have support of such a huge community of people.

Hi Ari12, and welcome, If the hospital your having your surgery is the St marks I'm thinking of which is near Harrow, London you will be in excellent hands, as it is a hospital thats for crohn's, colitis, fistula's and any other bowel issues only. wishing you all the very best with your operation and a speedy recovery. What surgery are you having, resection? Bevx

They want to do a resection of my ileum. They are not entirely sure as she couldn't do a colonoscopy. I am in partial obstruction and wouldn't be able to go through the prep cleaning before...
