What I was told by my GI was he usually starts people on Remicade, since it's been around longer and he had more patients on it. Humira has been around for quite a long time, too, and is still good. I've been on Remicade for a couple years now, and it's worked great for me. I know of many members who are on one or the other and have good results. Another factor is that Remicade is given at a clinic/hospital, and takes a few hours, and you go ever ~8 weeks, whereas Humira is done by you (or loved one), and is given every couple weeks.
